Its a poem with my heart n soul. . . . .Please read it slowly. . . . .

It was raining. . . . .
She was by the window. . . . .
Resting her face on the breeze blowing by. . . . .
The wind carried with her across the hall,
The smell of new-born mud and her sweet fragrance. . . . .
I picked up my weak knees,
Worked my way through the furniture,
Walked up to her slowly. . . . .
Felt like I crossed oceans to reach to a distance where I could breathe the same air as her. . . . .
Beating hearts pounding,
Subtle emotions unwinding,
Felt her grace rushing though me. . . . .
Felt my youth running with me. . . . .
Moved my feet a step ahead,
Kept my fingers on her waist. . . . .
Slid my palm in and grabbed her sides. . . . .
She looked at me through the corner of her eye,
Her lips had a smile. . . . .
She took my hands. . . . .
She wrapped them around her chest. . . . .
She released herself from the window pane. . . . .
N let herself sink in my arms. . . . .
Two heartbeats became one,
Two bodies became one,
Two souls became one. . . . .
We were in resonance. . . . .we were in love. . . . .
My palm took hers. . . . .
Guided her outside the window. . . . .
Let the drops of rain sprinkle n die in her palm. . . . .
I slowly gathered those wet beads,
Took them under the shade,
Slowly carried them to her forehead. . . . .
She closed her eyes. . . . .
I let them go. . . . .
Each drop set out to their own journey. . . . .
They took their time,
Descended,
Gathered,
N together they disappeared. . . . .
I watched her breathing,
A beautiful sight for the eyes to behold,
Slowly
I turned her around. . . . .
Took her cold face in my palms. . . . .
There the sky flashed, n thunder brought her uneasiness. . . . .
I saw her afraid hands grasping my wrist tightly. . . . .
I smiled at her. . . . .
Placed my lips on her disappearing frown lines. . . . .
I said,
"Its been 72 years, n u haven't learned one thing I always remind u of. . . . .never be afraid of fear when u have me by ur side"
She replied,
"i was not afraid. . . . .just that I was taken by surprise, thats all"
"Now, u dont lie! U even held my wrist tightly. . . . ."
"oh that? I was just checking ur pulse oldie!"
We both laughed at each other. . . . .
All these years passed by me like a breeze,
All I could remember was her face from our teens. . . . .
All I could feel then was my unquenchable love for her. . . . .
I pulled her close. . . . .
I leaned embracing her in my arms. . . . .
She grabbed on. . . . .
We kissed. . . . .
