She Wears A Masquerade

This is for a special female I dedicated to but......it goes out for all those ladies who pretend to hide their tears so that others would not be able to watch what you are going through....
but you know the wonderful part??

someone like me always notices that :)

be sure to read this one slowly and understand each line........ a lot of hidden lines in the visible repetitions.......

This is.....She Wears A Masquerade

_______________________________________________________

She thinks I can't see the smiles she's faking,
Tears that she blinks away for dust in her eyes,
Puts on a brave face without worries in her stride,
Blends in with humour and laughs that last for a while..

Whispering,
Now crying,
She's not lying...
When she hides in her room,
Sorrow's still there..

she's holding it down,
When someone knocks,
The lies of life in a parody,
Will come and play their parts in the cruel rhapsody...

Whispering,
Now crying,
She's not lying...
When she's hiding in her room,
Sorrow's still there..

there was the first time that I met her,
her eyes were masquerading mystery,
there were times when she beamed with light,
But a fear overshadowed her bright serenity..

Waiting,
tired of crying,
She's not lying...
When she's being held in her room,
Sorrow's still there..

several mouths ask her of her well being,
She lies to refrain sympathy,
There's pain in her subtle eyes,
but they are betrayed by her words of irony..

Lying,
Screaming in her mind,
She's not crying...
When she's sitting in her room,
Sorrow's still there..

There is hope when she talks to her Lord,
About love and care not momentary,
she has her faith resting on the odds,
to take her home from life's situation..

Abiding,
Trying to live by the Book,
She's not crying...
When she's sleeping in her room,
Sorrow's still there..

It pains to see her aching and breaking,
Hurts to feel her agony,
But my heart's promise that He will stand..
Shoulder her pains and tribulations..

whispering,
She'll be comforted,
When I use words praying..
To give her wisdom and strength,
To keep trying,
Till He makes,
a way to her heart...
To see that...
Her smile shines from within...

sorrow won't be there ...

It won't be there....
