The vapors of a cutting chai

Is the admixture

Of who knows how many

Grains of sugar, cardamoms

That ruminate fragrance

of crushed chai patthiis, refracting

The taste through the structure

Of a plain glass, then

When once touched

By parched lips

Pushes the deadlines,

Love, hate, stress, lies,

Drama, thoughts away

from senses.

The ABC of a Prayer

Poetry does stir the mind. I have always tried to write something that can modify the feelings of the reader as well as the inquisitiveness of his questioning faculties. The below write-up doesn't attempt any of that. It is just a plain portrayal of my relationship with the Lord.

Ask

O Abba!
The love within all righteous,
Partake in the revival of the spirit in me,
Keep strong this mind and feeble heart,
Amidst the vicious..
Mercy mercy.. on my iniquities..

The Girl i Wish To See Once More

It's Friday evening....

watching the clock, holding the thought ... 

Trying to talk to my God.....

Praying for the girl I wish to see once more...

I hit my pillow,

Soothing sighs and peaceful highs.... 

melodies of her giggles and smiles... 

Pouring a beautiful thought into the mind....

This is for a special female I dedicated to but......it goes out for all those ladies who pretend to hide their tears so that others would not be able to watch what you are going through....

Morning Glory, I Love You

Morning glory, don't wither away,
In this deep dark woods, don't crawl your way,

Your tears pour the pain, downpours like the rain,
Night whispers tales of silence forevermore. . . . .

Footprints In The Sand

3 days passed n I thought my whole world should've changed,

But it's still the same, back to my normal ways,

Cars running outside my head, people waking up to a busy day,

Waiting for the sunset to come, but I guess it wont be coming this way. . . . .

The Fountain Of Salvation

The fountain of love sprouting from forgiveness

From the moist eyes of the smothered Soul

Tears those bore witness to His son's blood

Tears that lie smouldering the broken pieces of a whole

At The Edge Of That Lake

We left our taxi waiting,
We passed the gates to a road,
Which led to the edge of a lake,
Trees by the side,
Some islands in the corner of the eye,
Unraked leaves fluttering by the aisle,
We stood at the edge for a while. . . . .
